This Thangka is considered an encyclopedia of Tibetan culture, showcasing the Tibetan understanding of the universe, history, religion, medicine, and culture. One thing that must be mentioned is the Guinness World Record-holding "Chinese Tibetan Cultural and Artistic Panorama". It is 618 meters long and 2.5 meters wide, meticulously painted by over 400 Thangka art masters over the course of 4 years, with the entire process from planning to completion taking 27 years. This painted masterpiece is like a living encyclopedia of Tibetan culture, with every pattern and detail being absolutely exquisite.
Within the Thangka painting, you can find several fascinating depictions of King Gesar, including an especially intriguing portrayal of King Gesar at the age of 82.
